  • A notebook I coded for an outreach activity at Queen Mary to engage high school students with mathematics. It is contains Python implementations of cellular automata and Schelling's model of segregation. The notebook produces nice loopy animations like the ones below.

  • My friend Francesco, at the end of his PhD dissertation, wrote the appendix “Vito Volterra: scientist, patriot, antifascist”, which summarizes the life and ideals of the Italian scientist Vito Volterra. Volterra resisted the authoritarian regime that took hold of Italy in the early 20th century, embodying a firm scientific and moral integrity from which there is still much to learn today.
